Greggory William Goff, 69, Kokomo, passed away at his home at 2:55 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019. He was born April 7, 1950, in Kokomo, to James L. and JoAnn (Williams) Goff.
Greggory graduated from Kokomo High School in 1968 and earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Ball State University on Feb. 23, 1978. He was a Vietnam veteran and served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1972. He went on to retire from Delphi in Kokomo. He was a member of the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization, the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 6, VFW Post 1152, the United States LST Association, Sigma Nu Theta Nu Chapter, Epsilon Pi Tau Beta Chapter and the National Association of Underwater Instructors.
Survivors include his sisters, Terri (Michael) Besser and Debbi (Dane) Orbaugh; brother, Garry Goff; stepson, Jimmy Atkins; nieces and nephews, Travis Besser, Tracie (Adam) Meeker, Adam (Jessica) Goff, Heidi (Aaron) Lauderbaugh, Dylan Orbaugh and Devon Orbaugh; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Patricia Goff.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019, in Marion National Cemetery, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo.
