Glenn Bernard Dockemeyer, 63, of Kokomo, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1962, in Tell City, Indiana, the son of Joseph R. and Mildred B. (Byrnes) Dockemeyer.
Glenn graduated from Kokomo High School in 1980. He had worked in production at General Motors since 2006. Glenn previously worked in construction for 22 years.
Glenn was a member of the UAW local 2209, and had attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in his youth. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, and camping. He enjoyed gaming and country driving.
Glenn is survived by his son, Bernard J. (Brittany) Dockemeyer; grandchildren, Madelyn M. Dockemeyer, and Landon J. Dockemeyer; siblings, Joseph R. (Karen) Dockemeyer, Alan (Julie) Dockemeyer, Roger Dockemeyer, Sheila (Chuck) Springer, Blaine (Nancy) Dockemeyer, and Valerie (Steve) Francis; and sister-in-law, Diana Dockemeyer.
Along with his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his brother, Neil Dockemeyer, sister-in-law, Peggy Dockemeyer; and nephew, Tommy Pulver.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1229 N. Washington Street, with the Rev. Fr. Christopher Shocklee the celebrant, and Rev. Fr. Peter Vanderkolk the con-celebrant. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am – 1 pm Thursday at the church.
