Ginger Coleen Bliss

Ginger Coleen Bliss, 82, Kokomo, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Brickyard-Sycamore Village in Kokomo.  She was born August 23, 1943, in Tipton, the daughter of the late Dewayne & Bertonna (Vawter) Pumphrey.  On May 2, 1964, she married Thomas Joe Bliss who preceded her in death on December 21, 2015.

Ginger was a 1961 graduate of Prairie High School. 

Ginger is survived by her children, Robin Byers and Thomas Bliss; and sister, Gloria Maxwell.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas; and son-in-law, Mike Byers.

In keeping with Ginger’s wishes, no services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ginger’s memory to Indiana Donor Network, www.indianadonornetwork.org.  Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
