Garry Hancock Obituary

Garry Douglas Hancock, 48, Marion passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home. He was born in Kokomo on June 4, 1970 the son of Larry Wells and Patricia (Johnson) Wells - Estes.On November 13, 2014 he married Brent W. Jackson in Marion, Indiana. 


He graduated from Northwestern High School class of 1988 and I.U.K. in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Garry had worked at I.U. K. For 15 years. He had also worked for Meijers and most recently at CVS Pharmacy in Marion, Indiana as a licensed Pharmacy Technician for 2 years.  He loved spending time with family, friends and his three dogs, Zeek, Drake and Chloe´. He enjoyed the outdoors.  


He is survived by his husband, Brent W. Jackson, sisters, Deborah Wells, Evelyn (Justin) Short, brother, Edwin (Tina) Wells and sister, Christine (Thomas) Connaker and Uncle, Garry J. (Marilee) Johnson. Cousins, Carri (Lou) Schneider and Amanda (Michael) Austin. Eight nieces, two nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews. Mother in law, Patricia A. Jackson. Special friends, Adam (Kyla) Liehr and their three children and Jamesyn Quinn.


He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.


A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home 112 E. Main Street, Greentown, following Garry’s wishes he will be cremated with no funeral service. The family wishes the memorial contributions be made to Grant County Humane Society and/or Kokomo Humane Society, Kokomo. Hasler & Stout Funeral 112 E.
