Ernest Harrison “Butch” Fearnow Jr., 69, Russiaville, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at his home. He was born May 27, 1949, in Howard County, the son of the late Ernest Harrison Fearnow Sr. & Eula (Southern) Fearnow. He married Linda Teter, they later divorced, and she survives. He then married Cynthia S. Lewark who preceded him in death on December 6, 1994. He married Corinna Yeary, they later divorced, and she survives. He then married Tamara L. Lyons on July 9, 2005, and she survives.
Butch was a 1967 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He retired from Campbell Seed-Monsanto Agrochemical Company. He was a farmer for most of his life and worked for Chrysler Corp. Butch enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Along with his wife Tamara, Butch is survived by his children, Melinda (Johnny Jr.) Faulkner, Christopher (Sierra) Fearnow, and Jessica (Eben) Fearnow; step-children, Tommy Yeary, Adam Yeary, and Aaron Henderson; grandchildren, Ashley Faulkner, Amy Faulkner, Kayla Long, Willow Fearnow, Grayson Fearnow, Ethan Fearnow, Rylan Fearnow, Maxwell Fearnow, Grace Henderson, and Khloe Henderson; great-grandchildren, Morgan Long, Kayden Gutierrez, and Brylee Turlington; siblings, Max Southern, and Nancy Duffer.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents; second wife, Cynthia; son, Michael Fearnow; and brother, Jim Freddie Fearnow.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, with Pastor Jerry Ausbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10-1 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
