Eric Todd Knight

Eric Todd Knight, 60, of Kokomo, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was born on January 18, 1965.  The son of Dennis Elwood and Kathryn Jean (Hill) Knight.  On January 24, 1998, in Indianapolis, he married Sherry Lynne White, and she survives.

Eric graduated from Portage Northern High School in 1983. In May 1993, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.  Eric worked at Chrysler for 11 years, and he previously worked at RCA in Indianapolis for 10 years.  Eric enjoyed gardening vegetables and was a grill master specializing in BBQ.  He loved his family very dearly and was a proud and devoted grandpa.  Eric attended Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Hemlock, IN.

Along with his wife of 27 years, Sherry Knight, Eric is survived by his children, Stephen (Stacy) White, Amber (Daniel) Cline, Ashley (Micah) Thompson, Audray (Shane) Miller, Joshua (Jolie) Knight, and Autumn Knight; grandchildren, George Binder, Nick Binder, Amaya White, Melody Thompson, Nova Miller, Alleia Miller, Jettson Knight, and Baby Cline that is on the way; and brother, Brian Knight.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis & Kathryn Knight.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 4439 E 406 S, Hemlock, IN, with Pastor Steve Gollner officiating.  Burial will follow in South Union Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Kairos Prison Ministry of Indiana.  Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
