Eric Dion Wilson

Eric Dion Wilson, 68, Kokomo, passed away at 3:11 pm on March 13, 2026, at Community Howard Regional Health System. He was born on March 5, 1958, to Robert and Mary “Norvene” (Coverdale) Wilson. He married Rhonda M. (Van Pelt) Wilson, and she preceded him in death on July 26, 2022.

Eric attended Haworth High School, where he was active in the Marching Band.  He worked for the City of Kokomo Parks Department. He previously worked for Yogi’s Pizza, Pizza hut, and Cedar Crest Lanes. He was a Boy Scout, who enjoyed collecting Western Memorabilia.        

Eric is survived by his siblings, Robert T Wilson, Sheila (Larry) Evans, Barry Wilson, Diane (Larry) Moore, and Michele Imlay; 8 nieces and nephews; and 15 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary; wife, Rhonda, brother, Timothy Wilson; and his brother-in-law, Mark H. Imlay.

A graveside service celebrating Eric’s life will take place at 11:30 am on Monday March 23, 2026, at Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo.  Friends may visit the family from 10 am – 11 am on Monday at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
