Edward Lee "Eddie" Hewitt

Edward Lee “Eddie” Hewitt, 67, Kokomo, passed away at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at The Waters of Castleton. He was born on January 10, 1958 in Kokomo to Paul Thomas and Mary Magdalene (Perry) Hewitt.  

Eddie will be remembered for his loyal and kind-hearted nature. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and NASCAR. 

He is survived by his mother, Maggie Hewitt; daughter, Brandi (Andy) Earl; nephew and nieces, Austin (Kelsie) Overley, Ciera Overley, Whitney Jackson; uncle and aunt, Pleamon (Sue) Hewitt; brothers-in-law, Mike Jackson and George Overley; and sister-in-law, Julie Hewitt. 

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Wayne Hewitt; and sister, Paula Jackson.

Funeral services celebrating Eddie’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville, with Pastor Bill Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Russiaville Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
