Edward “Eddie” Eugene Heins, 69, of Kokomo, passed away at 11:04 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020, at his home. He was born December 11, 1950, in Kokomo, to Paul and Sharon Heins.

Eddie worked as a mechanic and could fix anything.

He is survived by his daughter, Jody (Brad) Dalton; son, Jamie (Gina) Heins; grandchildren, Jessica Turner, Matthew Turner, Zach Heins, Blake Heins, Katie Heins, Mason Alderman, Megyn Gamble, Zoey Dalton, Ethan Hill, Jersey Heins and J.J. Heins; mother and father-in-law, Barbara and James Kinsey; life-long friend, Nancy Pate; former wife, Peggy Kinsey; sisters-in-law, Susie Hale and Terri (Tom) Wagner; nieces and nephews, Amy Hale, Jason (Angie) Hale, Joseph Domengo and Luke Wagner; and family friend, Chris Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Cassie Heins.
