Dorchie L. (Armour) Cockrell

Dorchie L. Cockrell, 66, Kokomo, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026.  She was born September 25, 1959.

Dorchie was a graduate of Western High School.  She loved to tend to her garden and her yard.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and doing crafts and puzzels.  She also enjoyed painting native American statues and spending time with her pets. 

Dorchie is survived by her son, Ryan Driver; mother, Mary Lee; brother, William Armour; grandchildren, Kingston Sutherland, Addison Limely and step-granddaughter, Mia Hobbs, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dorchie was preceded in death by her dad, George Lee; and brother, Terry Armour.

In keeping with Dorchie’s wishes, no services will be held.  Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
