Dianne Joyce Roach, 82, of Peru, passed away at 12:02pm on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at her home. She was born on June 4, 1943, the daughter of Wayne and Geneva (Kline) Schaaf. On September 26, 1970, she married Carroll Wayne Roach in Marion, IN and he survives.
Dianne was a 1961 graduate of Eastern High School. She worked in setup and production at Delco Electronics for 30 years. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Peru. Dianne loved flowers and working in the yard. She was very active, enjoying walking on the beach, snow skiing, and biking. Dianne enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing and spending time with her grandkids. One of her passions was collecting frogs with a collection of over 600. Dianne and Carroll enjoyed traveling, as well as wintering in Florida for 21 years. Dianne loved her family and was a caregiver for her mother for many years.
Along with her husband, Carroll, Dianne is survived by her children, Brett Roach, Mark (Renee) Roach and Christi (Pete) Watson; grandchildren, Matt Roach, Jeremy (Melissa) Roach, Lauren (Mauro) Peralta, Danielle (Justin) Norman, Gabby Huppenthal, McKenzie (Jacob) Hawkins, Charlie Watson, Annie Watson, and Katie Watson; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dean (Susie) Schaaf, Dale (Cindy) Schaaf, and Dwight (Ganiece) Schaaf; brother in law, Logan Sparling; and several nieces and nephews.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Geneva Schaaf, and two sisters, Bonnie Sparling and Donna (Charlie) Guge.

A funeral service celebrating Dianne’s life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, with Pastor Dustin Smith and Pastor Logan Sparling officiating. Burial will follow at Mast Hensler Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
