Diane Mae Elliott

Diane Mae (Loy) Elliott, 72, of Bringhurst, IN, passed away 7:23 pm Tuesday September 2, 2025, at her home in Bringhurst. She was born in Lafayette, IN, on October 18, 1952, the daughter of Frank and Mary Katherine (Hufford) Loy.

Diane was a graduate of Jefferson High School. She formerly worked at the Wabash Center. She worked a career in the medical industry for several years. She spent the last 16 years of her career as a Supervisor at Franciscan Saint Elizabeth Health Hospital – Lafayette East. Diane was a strong lady who found joy in caring for other people. She adored her family and she prioritized them. She always wanted her family to know how much she loved them. Diane had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She evangelized, shared scripture, and prayed daily. She was a member of Hope Community Fellowship Church in Flora. Her favorite hobbies were reading the Bible and attending shopping trips with her sisters.

She is survived by her children, Angie (Dennis) Elliott-Tanksley, Scott (Tiva) Elliott; siblings, Joann (Scott) Griffith, Gary (Dawna) Loy; grandchildren, Daniel Levi Elliott, Hope (Justin) McKenzie Allen, Micahla (Octavio) Nicole Elliott, Sierra Kaylee Payne, Brandon Elliott; great-grandchildren, Eli Daniel, Noah Michael, Lainie Grace, Abel Thomas, Nova Faith, Aleah Lynn, Ryder Wayne, Zailey Sue Maelynn, Renzley Raine, Cassian James; and best friend, Holly Kendall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marilynn Marshall, Nancy Robinson; brother-in-law, Darrell Griffith.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am to Noon Saturday September 27, 2025, at Hope Community Fellowship Church, 7012 E. 50 N., Flora, IN 46929. A memorial service celebrating Diane’s life will begin at Noon on Saturday September 27, at the church, with Pastor Mike Williams officiating.
