Deborah D. Rose

Deborah D. Rose, 73, gained her angel wings on March 22, 2024. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Debbie was born on June 17, 1950, in Kokomo, Indiana. On July 28, 1978, she married Michael D. Rose and he survives.

Debbie worked at Delco Electronics for 11 years. She then attended Indiana University of Kokomo to become a registered nurse. As Debbie followed her dream she worked at Community Howard Hospital, St. Joseph at Home and The Eye Institute. She enjoyed the beach, taking cruises with her daughters, spending time with her girlfriends in Brown County and spending time with family. Debbie will be dearly missed and always remembered.

In addition to her husband, Michael Rose, survivors include her children, Greg (Kim Marton) Harbaugh Jr., Carol (Brian) Hecht, Michelle (Randy) Gray and Jessica (Joe) Ealy; siblings Robert (Lou) Wilson, Brenda Rogers, and Shirley (David) Bowers; seven grandchildren, Charlotte, Haley, Brittany, Faith, Noah, Katelin, Isaac, and Gracie; and three great grandchildren, Mia, Amileah, and Grayson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, grandmother, and grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, with Joyce Brooks officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 10 am until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
