Dean Allen Minor

Dean Allen Minor, 62, of Delphi, passed away 7:59 am Wednesday February 18, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born in Kokomo, IN, on November 11, 1963, the son of Kenneth Minor and Constance (Name) Davis. His wife and life partner Janet Minor has been with Dean for the past 33 years, and she survives.

Dean attended Eastern High School. He formerly owned and operated a construction business called Competition Construction. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was stationed in El Paso, TX. Dean was a strong and very helpful man. His favorite hobbies were fishing, riding motorcycles, and dancing. His voice was memorable and he was a talented singer. Dean was the best dad and family man. His favorite memories were at family gatherings.

In addition to his wife Janet, Dean is survived by his son, Dustin (Brittany) Sandlin; mom, Constance “Connie” Davis; brother, Mark Minor; grandchildren, Peyton Sandlin, Madison Sandlin, Aubri Sandlin, River Sandlin; nieces and nephews, Andrea, Amber, Luke, Heather; and stepfather, Bill Davis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Minor; and stepfathers, Bill Warden, Lowell McKibben.

A private graveside service will be held at Sharpsville Cemetery, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating. Stout & Son Funeral Home – Sharpsville Cemetery has been entrusted with arrangements. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
