DeAndra Monique Johnson

DeAndra Monique Johnson, 51 years old, of Kokomo, passed away Saturday March 14, 2026, at her home. She was born in Kokomo, IN, on August 20, 1974, the daughter of Roy Lee Johnson and Beverly (Fields) Pullins.

DeAndra was a loving, caring, and easy-going well-blessed lady. She worked at Brickyard Health Care (Sycamore Village) as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and at Comfort Inn hotel as a housekeeper in Kokomo, IN. She was very family-oriented and the best protector of her family. She absolutely adored her children and grandchildren and loved spending quality time with them. DeAndra attended Fresh Start Ministries and Kokomo Pilgram Holiness Church. One of her heartfelt strengths were volunteering with the Kokomo Urban outreach program on Sunday evenings that involved serving hot meals to the community at Fresh Start Ministries. She was committed to reading the Bible. She loved dancing, singing, and listening to gospel, R&B, and Mary J. Blige. She was always down for a good time. DeAndra’s favorite past-times were baking and watching Marvel, Lifetime, and Tubi movies.

She is survived by her children, Markeasa Johnson, Monterail (Bree) Johnson, Davee Haulcy, Da’Janell Johnson; mom, Beverly Pullins; brother, Theo Thomas; grandchildren, Amira Wilson, Lenna Bee Johnson; aunts and uncles Della Marie Gilford, Dovie Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Alexys Paris, and Eddie Choates ; uncle Ricky Fields; several nieces and nephews including Terrail Johnson and Torrona Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lee Johnson; sister, Eina Johnson; aunts and uncles, Debra Fields, Ella Marie (Fields) Johns, Vickie (Fields) Dawson, Carmel (Fields) Adams, Jacqueline Webb; Kell Dawson, Jim Webb; and granddaughter, Markeasa A. Wilson.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 am to Noon Tuesday March 31, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, IN 46902. A funeral service celebrating DeAndra’s life will begin Noon on Tuesday March 31, 2026, at the funeral home, with Tim Singleton officiating.
