David "Dave" Thomas Shuck

David “Dave” Thomas Shuck, 60, of Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 14, 1965, the son of David C. and Donna J. (Simmons) Shuck. On July 9, 2016, he married Sheila Light in Lafayette, IN, and she survives.

Dave was a 1985 graduate of Kokomo High School. He worked as a manufacturing associate with NHK Seating of America for over 20 years. He previously retired from Kroger as a produce manager. He loved to work. Dave enjoyed fishing, trips to Kentucky Lake, camping in his camper, and celebrating the Fourth of July.

Dave is survived by his wife, Sheila; parents David & Donna Shuck; children, Kasey (Brad) Slabaugh, Kody (Alyssa) Shuck, and Kameron (Brandi) Shuck; grandchildren, Mitchell Bostic, Braxton Bostic, Alayah Shuck, Kayden Shuck, Kyler Shuck, Lavaya Shuck, and Ashlynn Slabaugh; brother, Scott (Danielle) Shuck; brother-in-law, Alex Harris; and several nieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Joetta Light, and father-in-law, Gordon Light.

A funeral service celebrating Dave’s life will be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W Lincoln Rd. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 pm until 7 pm, Monday, May 11, 2026 at the funeral home.
