Clyde Davis Jr., 75 years old, of Kokomo, passed away 10:49 am Monday December 15, 2025, at Kokomo Health Care Center. He was born in Muncie, IN, on February 27, 1950, the son of the late Clyde Davis Sr. and Edith (Bivens) Davis.
Clyde attended Washington School Systems while growing up. He was a gifted and talented piano and guitar player. He was known as “The Professor” by his bandmates and colleagues. He was a founder of the Too Tall Band and most recently played for the Right Turn Band. He exhibited his artistic abilities by drawing and painting. He was fascinated with classic Corvettes and other hot rods. Clyde was well known for participating in the Roller Pigeon and racing Pigeons communities. He was a member of the Howard County Roller Club.
He is survived by his children, Carla Cole, Clyde (Christy) Davis III, Robbin (Heath) Ezell; siblings, Bobbie (Roy) Boothe, Kathy Davis, Angela (Kevin) Cardwell; grandchildren, Jayden Davis, Trower Davis, Alli Davis, Zane Davis, Morriah Ezell, Austin Ezell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Clyde Davis Sr.; son, Christian Cole; and brother, Doyle Davis.
