Christopher “Chris” Lee Paul, 56, Marion, passed away at 7:25 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born August 7, 1962, in Huntington, to Thomas E. and Florida “Mia” Miami (Johnson) Paul.
Chris graduated from Marion High School in 1981. He served in the Army National Guard and worked for Bona Vista and South Central Heating and Plumbing. He was a member of the Grant County Amateur Radio Club, the 20th Century Warfare Club, the Indiana MVPA, the Civil Air Patrol and Naphtali Masonic Lodge 389.
He is survived by his daughter, Erin M. (fiancé Zach) Paul, of Marion; granddaughter, Gracelynn Paul; brothers, Eric (Lori) Paul, of Laramie, Wyoming, Tom (Yvonne) Paul, of Ludlow, Illinois, and Dennis Shipp, of Kokomo; sisters, Robyn (Nick) Lester, of Goshen, and Nancy (Joe) Roe, of Kokomo; step-mother, Beverly Paul, of Elkhart; and several nieces and nephews, including Thomas (Shelynn) Paul, of Kokomo, Brandon Paul, of Laramie, Wyoming, Aeris and Mae Lester, of Goshen, Adam Paul, of Lafayette, Michael Shipp, of Kokomo, and Crystal, of Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, Missy.
Funeral services for Chris will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo, with Pastor Greg Reed officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
