Charles S. Taylor Jr

Charles S. Taylor Jr, 64, Kokomo, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at his home. He was born July 2, 1961 in Frankfort, IN to Charles S. and Nanette (James) Taylor.

Charles worked construction for many years and especially enjoyed the time he worked with Ken Lucas. He was a hard worker and mastered many building trades. Charles loved bluegrass music and attending the Bean Blossom Festival. He played guitar and was an avid IU and Colts sports fan. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Charles (Mattie) Taylor; sons, Charles (Elizabeth) Taylor III and Andy (Amy) Taylor; grandchildren, Clayton Taylor, Garrett Taylor, Lennon Taylor, Mason Taylor, Emmalynn Taylor, Alex Taylor, Brooklyn Taylor, Cailey Taylor, and Olivia Taylor; greatgrandchildren, Kassious Taylor, Amyiah Taylor, Gabriella Corrlas, and Mateo Corrlas; siblings, Joyce Warrick, Mable Griffin, Judy Lucas, Ray Taylor, and Randy Taylor; stepsister, Kathy George; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services celebrating Charles’ life will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 East Main Street, Greentown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the funeral Home from Noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hasler & Stout Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
