Carolyn "Sue" Snow Obituary

Carolyn “Sue” (Woodard) Snow, 81, of Sharpsville, passed away 7:58 am Thursday March 5, 2026, at Kokomo Healthcare Center. She was born in Sharpsville, IN, on March 26, 1944, the daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy (Yeary) Woodard. On June 11, 1971, she married Michael Snow in Kokomo, IN, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2018.

Sue was a 1962 graduate of Sharpsville High School. She worked at T-Way in Kokomo for 10 years as a clerk. She formerly owned a Bait & Tackle shoppe in Winamac. She enjoyed watching everybody fish and having a good time together. She was the best caretaker and was a foster parent to four children. She was fascinated with tracking her family’s genealogy. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, crafting, and playing Bingo. She attended Rock Prairie Church in Tipton and was a member of the Home Economics Club in Winamac.

Sue is survived by her foster children, Cindy Ludwig, Marcia (Bill) Campbell, John Frankle; brother, Everett Erickson; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Woodard; brothers-in-law, Keith Whittaker, John Weaver, Jeff (Linda) Collins; several nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dorothy Woodard; husband, Mike Snow; foster child, Doug Frankle; sisters, Margie Whittaker, Connie Weaver; and brother, Stan Woodard.

A graveside service celebrating Sue’s life will begin at 2:30 pm on Tuesday March 10, 2026, at Sharpsville Cemetery, 414 E. Elm St., Sharpsville, IN 46068, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating.
