Carolyn A. Lindsay, 55, of Chicago, IL, passed away on September 7th, 2025, at 1:56 p.m. at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born January 19, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, to Barbara Lindsay. Raised and cared for by Emma & Jesse Leonard all who preceded her in death.
Carolyn a.k.a (Queen “C” & Big Mama) Better Known to her children as “OG” was a fun, free spirited, loving, and loveable woman. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends doing all the wonderful things she loved to do. She loved to sing, dance, and rap. She also enjoyed rebuilding and rehabbing homes to provide those in need a place to stay. She was a family advocate and so much more. She was truly a jack of all trades, very multitalented.
Her survivors include her children, Raymond, Terrance, Renee, Ericka, Paris, and Corey Lindsay; siblings, Terry Leonard and Glenee Brooks; many grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. And a host of other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Belinda Leonard, Sharon Lindsay, and Charlotte Leonard.
No public services are scheduled at this time. Cremation has been entrusted to Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory in Kokomo. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
