Candis Lynne Wyant Obituary

Candis Lynne Wyant, age 43, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on March 31, 2026.

Born in Kokomo, Candis was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth touched everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel like family, offering love freely and wholeheartedly to those around her.

She was also deeply cared for by her devoted caregiver and dear friend, Trisha Mossholder Shepard, whose compassion, friendship, and unwavering support meant so much to Candis and her family. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her two sons, Paul and Joseph, whom she loved deeply and was endlessly proud of.

Candis found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved dancing, music, and writing poetry—often using her words to express the depth of her heart—and cherished any opportunity to gather with family and celebrate.

Her vibrant, fiery soul and willingness to share her feelings openly created deep, lasting connections and memories for all who knew her. She had no doubt where she was going, and she found comfort in her faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, her joyful energy, and the way she brought people together.

Candis is survived by her two sons, Paul and Joseph Lowery; her father, Marvin Wyant and his wife, Laura; her mother, Carol Snyder and her husband, James; her sister, Cherie Wilson and her husband, Joshua; step-brothers, Adam Wray and his wife, Courtlyn and Alex Winters and his wife, Maddie; her nieces, Alexandria and Roxanna Wilson; as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, all of whom she loved very much.

Her love lives on in all who know her.
