Brittany Ann Beatty

Brittany Ann Beatty, 28, Kokomo, passed away Friday July 19, 2019.  She was born January 14, 1991, in Kokomo, the daughter of Sam & Shelley (Lane) Beatty. 

Brittany was a 2009 graduate of Western High School and had attended Indiana University at Kokomo.  She worked for Chrysler Corp for 5 years.  She also worked as a waitress for Hacienda during high school and college.  Brittany was a member of Local UAW #685 and the YMCA.  She enjoyed cooking, making crafts, home repair of any kind, and family get togethers.  Her daughters were the loves of her life, along with her pet “Daisy”. 

Along with her parents, Sam & Shelley, Brittany is survived by her daughters, Ella Grace and Ruby Rose; siblings, Riley Beatty, Ross Beatty, and Natalie (Craig) Mortensen; grandparents, Norma Etherington, and Louann Beatty; aunts and uncles, Karen (Steve) Phillips, Mike (Jane) Beatty, Janet (Donald) Davies, Joe (Teresa) Beatty, Dan (Christy) Sharp, and Sara (Dennis) Montgomery; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; longtime companion, Bryce Robinson; and her beloved pet, Daisy.

Brittany was preceded in death by her grandfathers, David Beatty, Larry Etherington, and John Lane.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, July 26, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Dave Osborne officiating.  Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
