Bonnie Louise Williams, 81, Kokomo, passed away at 4:14 am Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Community Heart & Vascular in Indianapolis. She was born January 12, 1945, in Logansport, IN, the daughter of the late Merle & Mable (Cripe) Fisher. On July 1, 1989, she married Justin Williams who preceded her in death on November 11, 2009.
Bonnie retired from the Salvation Army where she worked in the warehouse. She was an avid reader, loved movies especially old classics, and watching Jeopardy. Bonnie also enjoyed embroidery, country music, flowers especially lilacs and looked forward to family gatherings.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Julia (Duwayne) Richardson, Robert (Denise) Name and Jerry (April) Name; grandchildren, Jered (Cassandra) Kimmel, Candace (Mitchell) Groves, Cory Kimmel, Nathan (Candace) Name, Serena (Danielle) Richardson-Shaw, Shane Richardson, Kara (Em Middleton) Name, Hayle Name, Andrea Taylor, Angela (Chad) Freeman, Alexandra (Trevor) Kincaid, and Jakob Name; great-grandchildren Preston Kimmel, Brooklynn Groves, Jacquelynn Groves, Jocelynn Groves, Freya Kimmel, Emily Freeman, Sophia Williamson, Jackson Williamson, and Sterling Richardson-Shaw. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Keeler; along with many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Justin; children, Jacqueline Kimmel and Edward Name; several siblings; and brother-in-law, James Keeler.
Special thanks to those at Kokomo Healthcare and Wellbrooke Kokomo who loved and cared for Bonnie like family.
A funeral service will be held at Noon, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Tim Tranbarger officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 am until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
