Billy Gene Pardue, 79, Bunker Hill, passed away at 10:00 am Sunday, February 15, 2026, at his home. He was born July 8, 1946, in Livingston, Tennessee, the son of the late Herlin & Zelma Pardue. He was married to Arlene Pardue who preceded him in death in 1985.
Billy attended Livingston High School in Tennessee. He served with the United States Army in Vietnam. He loved watching dirt track racing, western movies and Steven Segall movies. Billy also enjoyed fishing and playing with his dog Ginger. He was well known for his ham & beans, chili and vegetable soup that he prepared in his giant iron kettle.
Billy is survived by his nephews, Jeff Pardue, Betty (Alan) Sandlin, Patricia (Ed) Long, Andrew (Keisha) Eldridge and Sue (Stephen Clark) Eldridge; special great nieces and great nephew, Joseph Eldridge, Madyson Edwards and Samantha Edwards, along with several great nieces and great nephews.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Arlene; a son; a grandson; and siblings, Joe Pardue, Carlos Pardue, Donald Pardue, Glenn Pardue, Robert Pardue and ImaG Sebers.
In keeping with Billy’s wishes, no services will be held. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
