Beverly Walden

Beverly Walden, 90, of Kokomo, passed away on April 22, 2025. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana on July 26, 1934, the daughter of Charles H. & Clara Mae (Nash) Duke.

She graduated from Kokomo High School and married Doyle Gene Walden on May 10, 1952. She worked at Union Bank and Trust for over 10 years and sold Avon for 10 years. She loved to read, work puzzles and play cards with her friends. She was a member of Fairfield Christian Church.

Beverly is survived by one son, Matthew D. Walden (Kristie); two granddaughters, Caressa Walden, and Riley Walden. Three sisters in laws Alice and Phyllis Walden and Rose Swann of Florida. Several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Father, Mother, two sisters, Jean Stroup and Juanita Moore, a half-sister Martha Borg and a half-brother William Duke.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd. with Pastor Keith Cramer officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
