Beverly June Lewis

Beverly June Heath Lunsford Lewis, 89, Kokomo, passed away on Saturday January 8, 2022.  The daughter of the late Wiltcie and Frances (Potter) Dugan, she was born in Hemlock on February 18, 1932.  She married Benjamin F. Heath Sr. on April 20, 1948, and he preceded her in death on December 10, 1991. On April 24, 1993, she married James R. Lunsford, who preceded her in death on November 29, 2006.  On June 12, 2009, she married Stephen V. Lewis, and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2011.

Beverly was a real estate salesperson from 1978 until 1987 for Heath & Associates in Kokomo. She was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.

Beverly is survived by her children, Benjamin (Rita) Heath, of Kokomo, Robert (Jane) Heath, of Kokomo, Mark (Patricia) Heath, of Lakeland, FL., Roger (Kathy) Heath, of Greentown, Robbin (David) Knutson, of Saco, ME.; siblings, Wiltcie Dugan, of Kingsport, TN., Stephen (Willa) Dugan, of Donaldsville, GA., Marcia Collins, of Russiaville, and Donna Smith, of Bradyville TN.; grandchildren, Lisa (Ed) Chesser, Matthew (Stephanie) Heath, Alisha (Gary) Baird, Robert Heath Jr., Heath Knutson, Eric Knutson, Heather Heath, Shawn Heath, Chad Heath, Edwin (Christy) Likens Jr, Julia Herrell, James Shiver, and Thomas Gibson; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, siblings, David Dugan, Brian Dugan, and Glen Dugan; sisters in law, Windy Dugan and Nita Dugan; brothers in law, Earl Collins and Howard Smith; niece, Kelly (Collins) Miller; and nephew, Edward Collins.

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Monday January 10, 2022, at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 1709 Faith Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 11 am to 12 pm on Monday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
