Betty Vonogden Obituary

Betty Vonogden, 83, Kokomo, passed away at 10:29 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Golden Living Center in Kokomo. She was born January 12, 1936, in Audubon, Iowa, to Clarence and Colene (Robertson) Avey.

Betty graduated from Union Grove High School in Wisconsin. She worked at Delco and Northwestern High School. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her son, Phillip (Robin) Creason; grandchildren, Nathan (Tiffany) Creason, Benjamin (Alison Reed) Creason and Samantha Creason; great-grandchildren, Logan Creason and Cooper Creason; sisters, Shirley Markison and Barbara Groves; brother, John (Linda) Alley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Henry Alley.
