Bernada Lee Armstrong, 67, Kokomo, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Aperion Care. She was born November 22, 1950, in Ash County, NC, to Mary Lou (Stanley) Pasley. On May 15, 1984, she married Jerry Armstrong who survives.

Bernada was a homemaker who loved animals, fishing, and gardening. She enjoyed the company of others and never met a stranger.

Other survivors include her mother, Mary Lou Pasley; daughter, Davonna (Mark Williams) Church; son, Jr. (Ashley) Buchanan; grandchildren, Alexandria Williams, Ryder Williams, Rydder Buchanan, Greyson Buchanan, Christian Buchanan, McKindra Buchanan, Peyton Harrington, Vanessa Harrington, Joshua Gibson, and Korbin Gibson ; brothers, Mike, John, Patrick, and Jim; as well as sisters, Cathy, Hazel, Vicki, and Carol.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Gaither and Virginia Hazel (Weaver) Pasley; and grandson, Keegan Buchanan.

In keeping with Bernada’s wishes, she will be cremated with private services to be held at a later date. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
