Barbara Loraine "Barb" Molod

Barbara Loraine “Barb” Molod, 77, of Sharpsville, passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at her home. She was born June 3, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to John and Loraine (Ksobiech) Fleming. On March 25, 1970, she married Anthony E. Molod, in Puerto Rico, and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2021.

Barb graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1966. She went on to work in quality control at Pioneer in Tipton for over twenty years before retiring in 2014. Barb was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kokomo. She enjoyed Betty Boop memorabilia and reading, especially reading her daily devotions.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Molod; daughter-in-law, Heather Sheagley; siblings, Michael (Penny) Fleming, Patrice (Rob) Hanson, Jackie Fleming, Brian (Barb) Fleming, and Tim Fleming; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with Barb’s wishes, no public services will be held. She will be laid to rest at a later date beside her husband at Marion National Cemetery.
