Annette Maiden, 84, Kokomo, passed away at 6:44 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026 at Majestic of Sheridan. She was born April 26, 1941 in Luttrell, TN to Earl and Fern (Booker) Dukes. On August 13, 1965 she married William Maiden who survives.
Annette retired from Delco Electronics in 1998 after 33 years of service. She and her husband enjoyed their retirement wintering in Florida at Lake Rich Village, attending auctions and sales, as well as spending time with and making memories with family. She loved gardening, canning, camping, traveling, and visiting state parks, well as collecting antiques and jewelry.
In addition to her husband, Annette is survived by her sons, James “Randy” Maiden and Gregory Maiden; grandchildren, Zach Maiden, Hunter Maiden, Ella Maiden, Evie Maiden, and Logan Maiden.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jerry Dukes, Marshal Dukes, L.T. Dukes, Sandy Hattabaugh, Shirl Lewis, and Melba Offutt.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road with Pastor Jeff Haill officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
