Anne Helen Grant Obituary

Anne Helen Grant, 64, Greentown, passed away at 9:56 pm Friday, April 24, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 15, 1961 in Tipton to Charles Henry Holman Jr and Marilyn Sue (Fisher) Holman. She was lucky enough to have two true loves, she married Keith Hochstedler on October 24th, 1981, he preceded her in death in 2006. On September 3, 2010 she married Barry Grant who survives. Love had always been an important part of her life, from losing her first husband at a young age who she created a loving family with to finding her second husband. She and Barry continued sharing all of the love with children and grandchildren, continuing on with a legacy that already had solid roots from her years of hard work.

Anne earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Kokomo and worked as a registered nurse for Community Howard Regional Health for 20 years where she helped many people and made an impact on so many employees. She also was an avid researcher for cures for multiple sclerosis, a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star, a former Girl Scout Leader, and her family’s biggest supporter.

She will be deeply missed by surviving family, her husband, Barry Grant; children, Reid (Khala) Hochstedler, Paige (Chris) Cramer, Barry E. (Evan) Grant, Ashton (Eric) Russow, and Shawn (Michelle) Hochstedler; grandchildren, Grayson Hochstedler, Parker Hochstedler, Annie Cramer, Cece Cramer, Gabby Cramer, Ayden Brewer, Jacoby Grant, Adrian Grant, Grant Russow, Presleigh Russow, Quinlyn (Evan) Warden, and Asha (Cole) Braun; sister, Marcie Duncan, brother, Chris (Sue) Holman, sisters-in-law, Martha (Darwin) Freeman and Lori (Brad) Nicholson; brother-in-law, Andy (Natalie) Grant; and mother-in-law, Margaret Ball.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years Keith Hochstedler; parents; siblings, Shawn Holman, Jonelle Holman, and Charles Holman III; and a brother-in-law, Donald Duncan.
