Angela Marie Harris

Angela Marie Harris, 66, Greentown, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at her home. She was born August 6, 1956 in Peru, the daughter of the late William and Rosemary (Smith) Raber. On February 29, 2012, she married David Harris in Kokomo, and he survives.

Angela was a 1975 graduate of Peru High School. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1995. She retired as a registered nurse after 28 years of service, spending 12 of those years at St. Joseph Hospital. Angela enjoyed working in the yard, crafts, and her 5 K-9 companions.

In addition to her husband David, Angela is survived by her sisters, Nancy (Danny) Peppers, Rebecca (Grant) Meeks, and Jamie (Mike) Dailey; brothers, Mike (Cathy) Raber, Ron (Cindy) Raber, and Bill (Samantha) Raber; along with several nieces and nephews.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Ginger Raber.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 411 N Grant St, Peru, with Patsy Raber officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kokomo Humane Society in Angela’s memory. Stout & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation.
