Amber N. Ford, 33, of Kokomo, passed away at 6:29 am on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Howard Community Hospital in the ER. She was born on November 24, 1986, in Kokomo, to Terry Garstka and Sandra (Beck) Avery.
Amber had one of the most contagious smiles and a heart of gold. She was always trying to help anyone she could. Amber loved all the time she spent with her three daughters who were her world. They enjoyed the weekends with all four of them together, their movie nights, all the laughs they shared, and baking together. She loved dancing, listening to music, and just having fun. She also enjoyed styling hair whenever she got the chance. Amber worked at Aperion Care where she was a CNA.
Survivors include her three children, Karly Ford, Nova Evans and Jerzee Evans; mother, Sandra Avery; father, Terry (Diana) Gastka; stepfather, Chris Avery; grandmother, Joyce Warwick; sister, Amanda (Corey) Hunt; half-brother, Caleb Avery; and significant, other Duane Evans.
Amber was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Warwick, and aunt, Tammy Robertson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Honeycreek Missionary Baptist Church, 250 Nashville St. Russiaville. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses. Stout & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
