Alan Brent Conner, 70, Kokomo, went to be with his Lord in heaven on Friday, July 19, 2019. Alan was born, in Kokomo, to Alfred and Marjorie Conner. He married Sheila Fitzpatrick, on June 26, 1971, in Warsaw, Indiana. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1967 and Purdue University in 1972. Al worked for General Motors for 39 years.
Al came to know his Lord and Savior in 1975 and had a servant’s heart. He grew his relationship with God through all the years of his life. He loved camping, history, the outdoors, traveling, and his family. He represented Kokomo’s founder, David Foster, for 19 years at Koh-Koh-Mah & Foster Living History Encampment.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Conner; children, Erin Conner, Patrick (Kristal) Conner, and Lane (Trent) Haverkamp; grandchildren, Isabela, Emma, Avery, Olivia, Ultan, Ydessa, Zapporah, and Keegan Conner, and Katy, Trinity, Kaleb, and Josh Haverkamp; and brothers, Steve (Jada) Conner, and Mike (Carolyn) Conner.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with Celebration of Life at 12 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019, at Grace Community Foursquare Church, 2020 S. Goyer Rd., Kokomo. Lunch to follow.
