Forty years ago I was introduced to the father of one of my dearest friends. How little did I know at the young age of 20 that this handsome, charismatic Officer and a Gentleman would instantly garner my admiration and continue to inspire my thoughts and values for the next four decades of my adult life. He was truly a part of author Tom Brokaw’s “The Greatest Generation”, a superb family patriarch and my extra father figure, and my own personal Cold War Hero.

Salute, Col. Chuck! You are loved and will always be missed. Fly with the Angels...

Offering my condolence to the family and friends of Charles Storch. As you cherish the many fond memories of Mr. Storch, reflect on the time when aging..., sickness... and death... will be no more. (Revelation 21:3,4; 1Corinthians 15: 26) This is what our loving God Jehovah has promised and Jesus Christ himself guaranteed the hope of seeing our loved ones again by means of the resurrection. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 26:19)
May God’s word bring you comfort during this difficult time and in the days ahead as we await the fulfillment of his promises.......
