It was you Mike Grawcock that pushed me through US Army Basic training and I who pushed you through Jump School. Our first jump, you were behind me. I'll never forget when the doors opened on that C 130, you tapped me on the shoulder and said, "are you scared"? I replied, "we're jumping out of an airplane, hell yes I'm scared"!
My Dad pinned our jump wings on our chest. You came to Huntsville, Al. and bass fished for a week before heading to Ft. Bragg, NC. Spent three years in the same unit with the 82nd Airborne division. I believe my Dad liked you more than me. Well, my Dad passed away on June 8th, 2018 and I was looking you to let you know, but I guess he met you at the pearly gate. Thanks for the memories Mike, I love you Brother!
