There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one in death; no doubt Mr. Gaskill will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May you find comfort in knowing death & sorrow were not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. His word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Further, Jesus guaranteed the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he performed resurrections and was himself resurrected by his Father. All resurrections took place on earth, giving us a glimpse of what is to come.... seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
May Jehovah God continue to bless & comfort you in the days ahead as we await the fulfillment of his promises....
