Walter E. "Luke" Ingham Sr., 83, Kokomo, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Golden Living Center in Kokomo. He was born Jan. 28, 1935, in Ellenville, New York, the son of the late Thomas and Ruth (Tuffard) Ingham. On July 24, 1955, he married Kathryn Jean Schoonmaker, who preceded him in death on Nov. 6, 2007.

Luke was a 1953 graduate of Ellenville High School. He served with the United States Air Force and the United States Army. He worked as a salesman for Freskeeto Frozen Foods and Price Right Trailer Sales.    He enjoyed golfing, camping, Disney trips, and was a collector of old memorabilia.  

Luke is survived by his children, Walter and Tammy Ingham, Kokomo, and Debe and Toby DeAngelo, North Carolina; grandchildren, Gregory Michael Ingham, New York, Lauren Nicole Ingham, Kokomo, Bryan Pyle, Kokomo, and Brittany Pyle, Kokomo; siblings, Phillip Ingham, Millicent "Millie" Giammichele, and Bob Ingham, all of New York; and several nieces and nephews.

Luke was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son, Thomas Walter Ingham.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
