Sandra L. Bevan, 74, of Kokomo passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at St Vincent Kokomo. She was born on Aug. 8, 1942 in LaPorte, Indiana to Donald Robert and F. Eylene (Lambert) Miller. On Sept. 6, 1977, she married Robert A. Bevan in Clearwater, Florida, and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2017.

Sandra was employed with Delco Electronics and retired after 27 years of service. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, gardening and tending her geraniums, as well as going to auctions and rummage sales. Sandra was known for enjoying different crafts, including knitting, and collecting antique glass.

Survivors include her children, Larry Shrock of Austin, Texas, Troy Shrock of Bradenton, Florida, and Shannon Johnson (Jim Phipps) of Kokomo; grandson, Joshua Lang, Warrnambool, Australia; great-granddaughter, Makenzie Rose Lang, Warrnambool, Australia; siblings, Nancy Cuellar, Brownsville, TX, Karmel (Frank) Ward, Kokomo, IN, Gary (Cindy) Miller, Sharpsville, IN, Jennifer Byrd, Marion, IN, Deanna (Edward) Colaizzi, Kokomo, IN, and Artie (Susan) McDonald, Kokomo, IN; life-long friend, Betty (Don) Sawyer; and her beloved dog, Sparky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Robert Miller and F. Eylene McDonald and her husband, Robert A. Bevan.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 West Lincoln Road. Cremation will follow with burial in Russiaville Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be submitted at
