Lori Ann (Erspamer) Burger, 45, Kokomo, passed away at 3:37 pm, on Monday, February 13, 2017.  Born May 17, 1971, in Valparaiso, IN.  She was the daughter of Paul Erspamer and JoAnn Murfey.  On April 29, 2007, she married Jason Burger and he survives. 

Lori was a 1989 graduate of Valparaiso High School and had attended Ball State University.  She was employed with Bona Vista, and had worked for Work Force Development and American Health Network in Muncie.  Lori was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  Lori loved spending time with her family and friends.  Jason and her boys were her world. She loved watching her boys perform in the marching band and all of their various school activities.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and was the light of any gathering she attended.  Lori helped anyone who needed it and always put everyone else’s needs before her own.  She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Lori is survived by her husband, Jason Burger, Kokomo; sons, Brandon Christopher Cross, Jacob John Cross, Jacob Alan Burger, and Jarett Orion Burger; father, Paul (Jane) Erspamer, Valparaiso; mother, JoAnn (Jim) Murfey, Valparaiso; sister, Amy (Keith) Chrise, Granger; sister, Tiffany Erspamer, Denver, CO.; step-brothers, Peter (Gail) Murfey, Cedar Falls, IA., and Dan (Traci) Murfey, Oakland Township, MI.; along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, and brother, Brian Erspamer.

Funeral services for Lori will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Lori’s memory to the family (payable to Jason Burger) for her children’s educations.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com
