William “Bill” Mark Geiselman, 75, Kokomo, passed away at 1:09 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 27, 1944, in Peru, the son of Russell & Rose (Brooks) Geiselman. On August 27, 1965, in Logansport, he married Teresa Hastings, and she survives.
William was a 1962 graduate of Peru High School. He retired in 2006 from Delphi Electronics after 43 years of service as a journeyman machine repairman.
William was most at home with a fishing pole in his hand, in a tree stand, or busy woodworking. Most of all he was at his best when he was helping others.
Along with his wife Teresa, William is survived by his children, Stephen (Susan) Geiselman, Michael (Erin) Geiselman, and Jennifer (Jason) Williams; grandchildren, Christian Robinson, Jonah Geiselman, Mark Williams, and Elizabeth “Ellie Jo” Geiselman; siblings, Richard Geiselman, Don Geiselman, Carol (Bud) Creager and Max (Nancy) Geiselman, along with numerous nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law Charles (Debbie) Hastings and John Hastings. He is also survived by his “adopted” son, Paul Novak and “adopted” grandson, Sheldon Clark.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lois Robison.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in William’s memory to Riley Hospital for Children.
