William “Bill” J. Felger, 72, Kokomo, passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at North Woods Village in Kokomo. He was born July 28, 1947, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Willis Hayden and Martha H. (Hohenbrink) Felger. On August 13, 1990, he married Marcia A. Taylor, in Kokomo, and she survives.
Bill graduated from Riverside High School, in Ohio, in 1965 and from Tri-State College, in Angola, in 1971. He earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1979 from Purdue University and worked at Delco Electronics until his retirement in 2008. Bill served as past president of the Society of Manufacturing Engineering and was a proud member of Back to Basics Alcoholics Anonymous.
In addition to his wife, Marcia Felger, he is survived by his son, Shawn (Holly) Cohee, of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Allison Coy, of Kokomo; and grandchildren, Quintin Walter, of West Lafayette, Khloe Duncan, of Kokomo, Makenna Cohee, of McKinney, Texas, Olivia Cohee, of McKinney, Texas, Paxton Cohee, of McKinney, Texas, and Alex Cohee, of McKinney, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Jacob Burgei officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
