W. L. "Buck" Smith Obituary

W. L. “Buck” Smith, 73, Kokomo, passed away at 1:16 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Kokomo Healthcare. He was born August 22, 1945, in Peru, to William Reade and Nora Naomi (Wallace) Smith.

Buck enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, throwing horse shoes and auto racing, especially NASCAR.

He is survived by his children, Melissa (Daniel) Smith-Walton, Travis (Michelle) Smith and Ryan McLaughlin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, David Smith, Terry (Kimberly) Smith, Wilma Soots-Franklin and Jerrine Smith; several nieces and nephews; and many friends whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Sylvia Ione Smith and Gary Alan Smith.
