Susan Phillips Obituary

Susan Marie Phillips, 62, Kokomo, passed away at 11:17 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Community Hospital North. She was born January 26, 1957 in Jonesboro, AR to Gerald Wayne Nelson and Alice (Clairday) Beason.

Susan worked as an inspector at Haynes International retiring in 2009 after 30 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles but loved spending time with her grandchildren most of all.

She is survived by children, Rebecca White, Jaime Phillips, and James (Darci) Phillips; grandchildren, Kenneth Sharp, Quinton (Ciara) Perrigen, Kierston Brisker, Sylus White, Camery Brisker, Cougan White, Josey Withrow, Jacey Phillips, Jayda Phillips, Jayden Phillips, Jaylianna Phillips, and Journey Phillips; great-grandchildren, Ella, Ezra, Zayvion, Zariyah, and Victoria; as well as siblings, Betty (Allen), Kenneth, Nancy (Keith), Richard, Cynthia, William, and Carmen (Steven).

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Robert Nelson.

Private family services will be held at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.shirleyandstout.com
