Shirley A. Scott

Shirley A. Scott, 83, Greentown, passed away at 2:43 pm Friday, June 14, 2019, at her home.  She was born July 30, 1935, in Brownstown, IN, the daughter of Everett & Pearl (Pruitt) Lutes.  On March 15, 1954, she married Robert H. “Bob” Scott who preceded her in death on September 9, 2014. 

Shirley is survived by her children, Terry Heckman and companion, Ron Rice, Timothy Scott, and Julie Scott; grandchildren, Jacob Heckman and wife Christine, Caitlin McKillip and husband Patrick, Jillian Hicks, and Chloe Scott Dunn and husband Andrew; as well as 8 great-grandchildren and her beloved yorkie, Buster.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter-in-law, Leslie Scott;

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown.  Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
