Sheila R. Freeman

Sheila R. Freeman, 65, Greentown, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at her residence. She was born July 19, 1953 in Gideon, Missouri to Junior DeWayne and Oca Othella (Darter) Freeman.

Sheila had worked at GM- Delco retiring on May 1, 1999.

She had been a trustee at the VFW #1152 in Kokomo. She was a member of Local #292. She enjoyed playing in the Euchre club at the VFW along with playing BINGO. She was a caretaker for her family.

She is survived by her son, Duane E. Bostic, brother, Harvie “Wayne” D. Freeman and sister, Evelyn “Wendy” D. (Freeman) Dean. . Fiancé, Bud Landis. Grandson, Dakota Bostic and several cousins, nephews, nieces. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Diane Rhnea Freeman. 

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home 112 E. Main St. Greentown. Funeral services will also be Hasler & Stout Funeral Home 112 E. Main Greentown at 1:00 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Tim Russell officiating. Burial will follow the service in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
