Ronald D. Revils

Ronald D. Revils, 77, Bringhurst, passed away at 3:30 pm Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his home.  He was born May 4, 1941, in Peru, the son of the late Paul W. Revils & Dorothea (Miller) Schmittou.  On June 1, 1988, he married Renda Scott and she survives.

Ronald retired from Delphi Electronics Corp. on May 1, 2006, as a millwright.  He enjoyed fishing, reading, camping, and taking care of his aquarium fish. 

Along with his wife Renda, Ronald is also survived by his children, Carmen Revils, Shannon (Jim) Fortman, Robynne (Aaron) McCormick, Robin Maddox, and Rhealene (Terry) Hobbs; grandchildren, Amie, Alexis, Andrew, Austin, Jarrod, Amanda, Shelby, Josh, Lacey, Devin, Cameron, Madelyn, and Jansen, along with great-granddaughter, Leyla; daughter-in-law, Amy Purvis; and sister, Rebecca Brandon.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Tim Revils, and Rodney Maddox; and step-dad, Bill Schmittou.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Asbury Cemetery, Bringhurst, with Steve Cole officiating.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10-11 am Wednesday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Neptune Chapel, 44 Michigan Street, Burlington.  Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
