Ronald Joseph “Ron” Pier, 71, Kokomo, passed away at 6:10 am Saturday, April 13, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born July 1, 1947, in Peru, the son of the late Joseph & Dorothy (Lerch) Pier.

Ron was a graduate of Northwestern High School. He worked as a farm hand for Ortman and Maples Farms. He loved his sweet tea, watching basketball, and playing golf. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards, especially Pinochle and Poker, which were his favorite.

Ron is survived by his sons, Brian (Misty) Pier, Brad (LouAnn) Pier, and Joe (Jacqueline) Pier; grandchildren, Zackary, Meghan, Avery, Joe (Daisy), and Thomas; siblings, James “Ed” Pier, Steve Pier, and Roberta Jackson.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenny Pier.
