Roderick “Rod” Allen Glover, 69, Russiaville, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020, at his home. He was born February 13, 1950, in Kokomo, to William and Virginia (Leicht) Glover. On December 20, 1969, he married Janet Fouch, and she survives.
Rod graduated from Western High School in 1968 and from the United Electronics Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974 and went on to work as an electrician for General Motors and Delco Electronics for 30 years before retiring in 2005. Rod was an outdoorsman and enjoyed woodworking and stone carving.
In addition to his wife, Janet Glover, he is survived by his children, James (Lisa) Glover, Anne (Eric) Anderson and Erin (Al) Jones; and grandchildren, Erik Glover, Andrew Glover, Graham Anderson, Ella Anderson, Claire Anderson, A.J. Jones, Brennan Jones and Ian Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the Jeff Stout Community Center, 650 N. West St., Russiaville.
